ROCKETSHIP VIDEO Feature: TOM CORBETT: A TRIP TO THE MOON Wonder Book

TOM CORBETT: A Trip to the Moon, 1953
(originally Tom Corbett's Wonder Book of Space)

Story by Marcia Martin
Pictures by Frank Vaughn

Cover price 29¢

Space Cadet Tom Corbett takes young Johnny and Janie on a fun and educational trip to the moon.  The 18-page book features terrific illustrations by Vaughn and a simple, yet educational, text by Martin that teaches children the fundamentals of space flight in terms they can understand.

(I'd like to be able to scan some of the interiors, but this book is in tremendous condition (fifty years old and it looks almost new!) and I don't want to crack the binding to fit it on my scanner--sorry!

This was found at a small flea market in mid-Missouri, at a price that I found to be a bargain-- they are still out there, folks!)
